As an author, I've won awards and honors from the Asian Pacific American Librarians Association, International Literacy Association and the National Council of Teachers of English. As an artist, I'm still just getting my sea legs. As a human being, I'm a contradictory conundrum: hopeful yet pessimistic, an introvert who can fake extraversion, and someone who takes on too many roles and tasks but needs 8-10 hours of sleep each day.
