Course: BA Film Favorite book: Les Miserables by Victor Hugo Despite it being a heavy read, I really admire how Hugo was able to string together events that spanned several years and produce something emotional, inspiring, and epic. Favorite film: Persepolis. It’s a great autobiographical film, technically well-made with striking visuals, but what makes it stand out for me is the fact that Marjane Satrapi (the director) situated her experience within the political climate. It is a personal film, but it is also very political. Favorite media practitioner: David Lynch. I like how his films are dreamlike and unnerving. Song: Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles It always makes me feel better every time I listen to it. Favorite internet site: Youtube. It is a video hosting site. It is my favorite because it has content spanning a wide variety of topics, such as music, opinion, entertainment, educational videos, etc. Meal: Pork Adobo It reminds me of home. Hobbies: Reading, watching films/series, reading, playing the guitar/ukulele
