Nerd Trips are excursions to historic locations, particularly presidential homes, birthplaces or burial sites. I also enjoying visiting the homes of authors and poets. The destinations of Nerd Trips are, by definition, not the coolest places to visit. In fact, the name came when someone was mocking a road trip to President Hayes's house!
