Michael David Meek

Michael David Meek, situated in California, is a highly respected Special Educator and U.S. Army Logistics Officer known for his exceptional leadership within both educational and military domains. He has three graduate degrees in education: School Administration, Student Learning and Technology, and Special Education. With an extensive background spanning nearly 35 years in education, leadership, and administration, he has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. His military journey began when he enlisted in the California Army National Guard at nearly 40, showcasing significant leadership skills and physical fitness. His military education includes the rigorous Captain's Career Course and Intermediate Level Education, equipping him for prominent roles in command and logistics. As a Major, he currently leads the 1114th and 1498th Transportation Companies, tasked with extensive troop management and operational logistics. In civilian education, he commenced with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and a Master of Arts in School Administration. 2004, he furthered his qualifications with a Master's in Student Learning and Technology. These academic pursuits have enabled him to spearhead initiatives to improve behavior management and foster inclusivity in educational settings. Professionally, he has significantly impacted public education, primarily through his involvement in Behavior Support Programs and technology integration to enhance educational practices.
