Born and raised in Chicago. Started his martial arts/Street Defense Training in Urban Defense. This is the course that was taught in the inner city before the creation of the now Black Stone Rangers took over the youth. Instructor Smith did not follow that path that then gangs turned towards and had to fight gang members that he was once called his "friends" in order NOT to join. The course is the original teachings of what was once Urban Combat is now called Neighborhood Watch.
