Maggie Corkery

I am a baby boomer who was born and raised on the coast of Virginia, but I now call the magnificent southwest my home. I married Pat in 2000, and between the two of us we have four children. My daughter Kat did a semester abroad during her university years at the Hellenic Institute of the Arts on the beautiful Cycladic island Paros and has never really returned. She became our reason/excuse to travel. We've since been to London, Prague, Greece, Turkey and France. I hope this blog will help others take that first step out of the U.S.A. and begin to discover the rest of the world.
