I want to get serious about my writing again. A friend recommended staring by reading more, and paying attention to whether or not I like what I'm reading. What style do I tend toward, what dialogue can I learn from, what do I want to avoid. This blog will serve as my writing laboratory notebook, recording what I have read, what I have learned from what I have read, and my own experiments with writing.
