I'm curious about a great many things (near everything, to be exact) and love learning, as well as teaching and sharing what I've learned with people who might benefit from it. My daughter has dubbed me "a promoter" because I'm always suggesting solutions that might solve people's problems. One of my current projects is teaching frustrated job seekers to sidestep the demoralizing process of "hoping to get chosen" by hacking the hiring system using a revolutionary Job Search process. Death to the supposed "Talent Shortage"! I'm a high D on the DiSC profile (on other profiles, I'd be labeled a "Red" or a "Regulator," among other things). I'm ambitious, driven, and believe it's possible to master just about anything with the right amount of commitment and effort. I also expect others to stretch to exceed their perceived potential. I'm great at leading and directing teams and conceiving and managing projects, but generally am not a fan of "managing" people (in it's most common form, which tends to involve a great deal of supporting and, quite frankly, babysitting!). My 2-year plan involves a move to Florida (Key West is the target, but just about anywhere in FL would be acceptable!) and surfing lessons. Hang ten, people!
