Michel is a New York Times, Washington Post, and USA Today bestselling author of three fantasy series and one standalone novel: The Riyria Revelations (six books), which were originally self-published. The series has been re-released by Orbit as a trilogy: Theft of Swords (2011) | Rise of Empire (2011) | Heir of Novron (2012). The Riyria Chronicles (two books), also released by Orbit is currently at four books, The Crown Tower (2013) and The Rose and the Thorn (2013), The Death of Dulgath (2015), and The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter (2018). The standalone book, Hollow World is a science fiction thriller involving time travel to the future. It was released by Tachyon Publications in 2014. Michael's third series, is The First Empire and consists of six books. The first three are released through Del Rey (an imprint of Penguin Random House, and they include Age of Myth (2016), Age of Swords (2017), Age of War (2018). The last three books of the series will be self-published. They are Age of Legend (July 2019), Age of Death (Feb 2020), and Age of Empyre (May 2020).
