Athena is a PhD student in the University of Melbourne researching the molecular pathways involved in cancer progression. Before coming to Melbourne, she was a KGSP scholar who got her Master's degree in Pharmacy major in Pharmaceutical Bioscience from the SNU College of Pharmacy. In her spare time (if she still has it) she travels. She loves visiting new places, tasting new flavors, and well, in general, trying new things. Among her other interests are photography (currently at noob level), reading, watching movies, running marathons on her laptop (lol), ...and researching. She also has several advocacies, most important of which are environmentalism, health care, and disaster preparedness and awareness.
